holy crap

christmas was sweet. i got a freakin laptop. compaq presario something or other. my sister got me this gorgeous and flashy ring that was super expensive(the most expensive piece of jewelry i own up to date). i got a very soft and cuddly build-a-bear from trent that kept me in good company last night along with various dvd's and a cd. AND my mutha just informed me that she got me a titanium hair straightener that just has not yet arrived. apparently they're even better than ceramic? who knew...my nana got me dishes and glasses for the new place. i love her living here.

speaking of the new place...i'm kinda shitting my pants a lot about it. i'm homesick already and i'm still home. the other night, my father was sitting at the piano while he was waiting for my mother to finish getting ready to go out to dinner. i went outside to smoke a cigarette, but i could still hear him. and i began to blubber. he stopped playing and i followed him into their bedroom and threw myself into his arms, managing to squeal out between sobs how much i'm going to miss him. and he said..."we're only going to dinner man...we'll be back in a couple of hours." thanks, dad.

in other news...tuesday is my last day of work down here. i have a shitload of things to do between then and the 5th, which is when i'll be leaving town (supposedly). my wisdom tooth is growing in and it hurts like a mother and there is this reoccuring UTI that is trying to murderize me.
